Parent Support Group/Local Task Force
A Local Task Force (LTF) is a parent support group for parents who have a child with a disability. It is an organization dedicated to learning and sharing ideas as it relates to special education initiatives happening at the local and state levels.
Benefits of an LTF
An LTF can help to enhance collaboration between parents, the school districts, and agencies through a common forum. In working together through the sharing of information and the opportunities for presentations on special education educational initiatives, our children benefit, and positive relationships can develop.
Reminder: Tomorrow, September 29th, 2025, will be an Act 80 two hour delay.

The due date for Homecoming shirts has been extended until Thursday, September 25. Shirts are $20.
What a great turnout! Nearly 50 students joined in for Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day on Tuesday—riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, and more along a route led by our Chief of Police.
Reminder: Monday, September 15 will be an Act 80 Day with no school for students.
Galeton students that need community service hours and would like to help at Germania Old Home Day, please see Mrs. Traub at the Bounce House at 11:00 am on Sunday, August 31st.

The Galeton Area School District Board Work Session originally scheduled for September 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. and the Business Meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. have been rescheduled to September 15, 2025, at the same times.
Basketball open gym for 7-12 grade with Miss Skoranski is cancelled for Wednesday, July 30th.
GUIDANCE COUNSELOR VACANCY
Galeton Area School District is seeking applicants for a High School Counselor. Applicants must be properly certified in the Commonwealth of PA.
