PARAPROFESSIONAL VACANCIES

1 part-time Paraprofessional and 1 full-time Paraprofessional to work with students individually and in small groups, as directed by a teacher.  This may include meeting the students’ academic, social, behavioral, and personal care needs—including lifting up to 75 pounds.  Some clerical work may be required—computer software experience preferred.  Successful candidate will hold a minimum of 2 years post-secondary education or be willing to meet the requirement through programming provided by the District.  School year position:  5.5 hours/day (part-time) and 7.25 hrs/day (full-time)/186 days/year, $13.72/hour.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS & SUPPORT STAFF NEEDED

The Galeton Area School District is seeking day-to-day substitute teachers at the pay rate of $125/day. PA teaching certificate required. Persons holding a Bachelor’s Degree may qualify for an emergency teaching certificate.

Day-to-day substitutes for teacher aides, maintenance and secretary are needed as well at a rate of $10.00/hour.
