New Student Preparedness Procedure Beginning January 5, 2026

Beginning January 5, 2026, our school will implement a new process to support student preparedness for students in grades 7–12.

Being prepared for class is an important life skill and directly supports learning. To help students build consistency and responsibility, we will be using the Required Items & Consequences Chart shown below.

Students are expected to bring the following items to school daily:
* Writing utensil
* Chromebook
* Chromebook charger
* Required class materials

When required items are missing, the following steps will be followed within each marking period:
* First occurrence: Verbal reminder
* Second occurrence: Parent/guardian contact
* Third or continued occurrences: Administrative follow-up in accordance with school expectations

Additional information:
* The tracking of missing items resets each marking period
* This process will begin January 5, 2026
* Students and parents are being notified in advance to ensure clarity and consistency

Our goal is to work together with families to help students develop responsibility and arrive at school ready to learn each day. We appreciate your support as we implement this new procedure.
