
Due to the weather forecast, the Memorial Day ceremony has changed location and time. It will be at the VFW at 10:00 am. Band members should arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 am.

SPECIAL MEETING
The Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 6:30 PM for the primary purpose of hiring teachers. The meeting will be held at the Galeton Area School District, Room #165.

High school field day!




Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day. Band members in grades 6-12 should meet at the cemetery by 9:45AM.

Potter County Special Day was held at GASD on May 10th and was a great success. We had to make some last-minute arrangements for an inside event due to rain but everyone made the best of it! Thank you to all of those who support this wonderful event!

We would like to thank the employees at the Galeton Dollar General & the community for their generosity! The employees organized Easter baskets, utilizing donations from community members, for our primary-level students.

Join Student Council in Beating the Winter Blues with a Spirit Week next week, March 25-28!

The Student Council is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt next week, 3/25-3/28. If anyone is interested in helping, we could use donations of:
-Candy (Bags)
-$5 gift cards for local stores
-Candy bars (any other larger candy items)
-Peeps
-Any other items that could be used as a reward for finding eggs hidden throughout the school

We are excited to welcome the Keystone Classroom Initiative this afternoon, including the state police and other volunteers, to our elementary classrooms today to help our students learn more about the history of Pennsylvania in a fun and interactive way! We encourage you to ask your kids how it went and to see what they thought about meeting the mascot!
