Reminder: There will be an Act 80 day on Monday, October 30th. We will operate on a two-hour delay schedule with doors opening at 10:00 AM.

The Pink Out event at the GASD volleyball game on 10/16/23 has raised $1187.52. The money will be going to the UPMC HIllman Cancer Center in Coudersport, PA.
GASD would like to thank the community for all of the support they showed last night!
Last week some of our seniors had an opportunity to participate in an event called Senator for a Day. They heard from state Senator Cris Dush, worked in committees on mock legislation, and debated the merits of various bills at Lock Haven University.
Todays homecoming events will proceed as scheduled. Students that are part of senior recognition should be there at 6:00PM.
The bonfire will be held this evening starting at 8:45PM, due to the forecast for tomorrow. At this time all other activities will proceed as planned tomorrow.

Parent Education Support Group presented by IU9 Local Task Force (LTF)
LTF is a parent support group for parents who have a child with a disability. It is an organization dedicated to learning and sharing ideas as it relates to special education initiatives happening at the local and state levels.

Please be aware that Galeton Area School District was part of a national incident involving numerous districts across the IU9 area receiving threatening email messages. Due to this, the Pennsylvania State Police were notified and increased security measures were taken. The threat was deemed not credible.
