We are excited to share that Galeton Area School District will be making some much-needed improvements to our facilities. GASD has entered into a Guaranteed Energy Savings Act (GESA) contract with McClure Company to implement a majority of these building improvements starting in the summer of 2023. The project will include the following elements:
District-Wide Lighting Upgrades
Building Envelope Air Sealing
Window Replacement
HVAC Upgrades
Replacement of Classroom Unit Ventilators.
Addition of Air Conditioning in the Cafeteria
Gym Upgrades
New Bleachers
Gym Divider
Stage Curtains
Plumbing Upgrades
Paint
Front Entrance & Stairs
Create a new, secure vestibule area
Replace stairs at the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and shop entrance
New Clock, Bell, and Announcement System
Crawl Space Ventilation Upgrade

ADA-accessible ramp at the playground entrance
Repaving Parking Lot
