INVITATION TO SUBMIT A TRUCK BID

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galeton Area School District is accepting bids for a MAINTENANCE TRUCK.   The requirements include but are not limited to:

  • 2022 or 2023 “New” Vehicle
  • Ford F250 4x4, 6.2 liter motor, automatic transmission preferred, or alternative equivalent model
  • Color white and manual windows preferred
  • Rubber interior flooring
  • All season tires, sprayed in bedliner, cab steps/running boards
  • Tow hitch with wiring
  • 9’ commercial grade v-plow snow plow

The proposed bid vehicle, including price, mileage, options and picture of the vehicle are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "TRUCK BID" by Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10:00 AM.  Truck must be delivered to the District within sixty (60) days of bid award notice to the successful bidder.  The District has the right to accept and/or reject all bids submitted within ninety (90) days of the bid opening. The District will not be required to make an award entirely based on the lowest bid.  The District reserves the right to waive any formalities. Bids submitted after the due date and time will not be accepted. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any purpose and to modify the terms of the bid to protect the interest of the District.  Questions regarding the bid can be addressed to Penny Crowell, Business Manager or Dr. Clyde Pierce, Superintendent.  Bids can be mailed or delivered to the following address: Penny L.
